Dimplex Opti-myst Cassette 1000 Projects electric fireplace

New Opti-Myst cassettes

The proven Opti-Myst principle is nothing new, and neither are the freestanding cassettes. What is new is this Dimplex Opti-Myst Cassette 1000R electric fireplace. Stylish, practical, connectable and easy to install.

Installation

The Dimplex Cassette 400 and 600 from the Opti-Myst cassette insert range already offered countless possibilities. We’ve seen some truly stunning creations made with them, often in MDF. This new Cassette 1000R series (and the 500R) makes it even easier to create different configurations. For example, when placing the Cassette 400 and 600 side by side, you need to allow for a gap without a log set. The Cassette 1000R, and the 500R too, can be connected to create a continuous flame effect.

Innovations in Dimplex fireplaces

First, this Cassette 1000R has LED lighting instead of the halogen lighting used in the other models. It is also possible to connect a water supply to this Opti-Myst cassette (at an additional cost). This means you no longer have to carry buckets of water or refill it manually. Ideal, of course, for restaurants and other public spaces. The best thing about this Cassette 1000R (and the Cassette 500R) is that, as mentioned, they can be connected. This also means you can connect this Cassette 1000R to a Cassette 500R to create a fire that is one and a half metres wide.
