Dimplex Opti-myst Cassette 500 retail electric fireplace

Dimplex Opti-myst Cassette 500R electric fireplace

The proven Opti-Myst principle is nothing new, and neither are the free-standing cassettes. What is new, however, is this Dimplex Opti-Myst Cassette 500 Projects. Small, practical, beautiful, connectable, and even easier to install.

Installation

The Dimplex Cassette 400 and 600 from the Opti-Myst series already offered a myriad of possibilities. We have seen the most magnificent creations, often made from MDF. This new Cassette 500R series (and the 1000R) makes it even easier to vary your designs. While with cassettes such as the M and L you have to account for the drawer (to refill water and potentially replace the bulbs), that is not necessary with the Dimplex Cassette 400, 600, 1000R, and this 500R. With these cassettes, you simply remove the top to refill them.

Innovations in Dimplex (Faber) fireplaces

First of all, this 500R cassette features LED lighting instead of the halogen lighting found in the other units. Additionally, it is possible (for an extra charge) to connect a water line to this Opti-Myst cassette. This eliminates the need to carry water tanks and means it no longer needs to be refilled manually. Ideal, of course, for restaurants, etc. The best part about the 500R cassette (and the 1000R cassette) is that they are connectable. This means you can link as many as you like together to create the widest possible flame effect. Because they are linked rather than placed separately side by side, the flame effect is continuous.
