The Spartherm Swing Insert 71x52 (formerly the Linear L 800 front) is a wood-burning insert that can be installed in most existing fireplaces thanks to its compact dimensions.

Fireplace insert

This Spartherm Swing is a fireplace insert. Inserts are usually installed in existing fireplaces where you cannot or do not want to carry out demolition or renovations. For example, if you currently have an open fireplace, you can install an insert in it relatively easily. Since the flue is connected from inside the stove, very little demolition work is required. Of course, the insert can also be installed in a new build. Inserts are generally also considerably cheaper than built-in fireplaces. This is partly because the insert has a hinged door rather than a lift-up door.

High efficiency

Spartherm's Swing range has a high efficiency rating (energy class A+). So if you install a Spartherm insert in an existing open fireplace, you can increase efficiency from a maximum of 10% to over 75%! This means more heat from the wood, so you use less fuel. In addition, an insert is much easier to use than an open fireplace and creates far less mess. You can also go to bed while the fire is still burning or briefly pop out to run an errand. You cannot do this with an open fireplace.

Different frames

The Spartherm Swing Insert 71x52 comes standard with a 60 mm four-sided frame. It is also available as an option with an 80 mm or 100 mm frame.
