Santiago Spanish Mantel
The name of this mantel is derived from the world-famous Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela. Santiago means Saint James. An old church along the route houses various shapes that you can also find in this mantel. A styled mantel with small details that give it a slightly more classic appearance.
Fitting and measuring
You don't have to do any measuring yourself. Unless it concerns the dimensions and what looks good in your interior or the space you have available. You are completely free to choose which stove is to be built in or placed underneath. We have the mantels custom-made in Spain. We can even arrange this for you in 32 different types of stone, and for several stone types, you also have a choice of finish!
Spanish mantels
Our mantels are specially made to measure. Every mantel is unique to us and to you. Each mantel is drawn individually. You will receive the drawing from us for final approval, after which we will order it for you in Spain, where our craftsmen manufacture the mantels. The delivery time for this unique and stylish Domingo mantel is, on average, only four weeks!
Unique natural stone
A natural stone mantel is unique. You bring a piece of life, a piece of the earth into your home. No two natural stone mantels are the same because every piece of rock is different. In our showroom, we have various mantels on display in the widest possible variety of natural stone types. We supply the mantels and hearths in no fewer than 32 different types of natural stone. From hard marble-like types to French limestone.
Various treatments for a natural stone mantel
Depending on the stone type you choose for a modern or classic mantel, various treatments are possible. You can have a honed mantel where the finish is smooth and matte. You can also choose a shiny, polished mantel. For a very special effect, you can choose to give your new mantel a sandblasting treatment. The softer areas in the stone are then blasted away.
Belgian bluestone
We distinguish between several classes of natural stone. Belgian bluestone is in the highest class and is therefore one of the more expensive and exclusive types. It is widely used, and it is precisely this type of stone that we can offer with various treatments. Treatments such as polishing, light and dark honing, light or coarse sanding, and also sandblasting.
Protecting a mantel
Natural stone remains porous at all times. Of course, a polished marble type is less vulnerable than a limestone. The fact is that we recommend treating the mantel with an impregnating agent. We can supply a colorless impregnating agent with the mantel if desired. If you have your new mantel installed and you would like the color to be a bit deeper or darker, we can also supply an impregnating agent, optionally including a color enhancer.

It is possible to purchase a floor plate and tile wall in the same stone type as the mantel. There are various price ranges for the different stone types.
